RFT Craft Fair
Preparations for this year’s Hightae Craft Fair are well under way at the village’s Royal Four Towns Hall....
We are again hoping for good support for this annual event which helps raise funds to keep the hall in good condition. Advertising is all important to make sure this event is a great success so could you please share this post with your Facebook friends and family.
Crafters from around the Dumfries & Galloway region are again working hard to provide a wide variety of hand crafted goods for sale many of which will make ideal gifts or Christmas presents. We try to ensure that all the goods for sale are of high quality and unique in style, not on general sale, and made in Dumfries & Galloway. We have a number of new ranges on sale this year as well as some favourites which return by popular request”.
The range of crafts will include, hand crafted chocolates, wildlife cards, photography, hand made wooden items, hand painted china and glass, beeswax products and wax pictures, knitted items, fabric bags and purses, embroidered pictures, eggshell craft, digicut figures,to name but a few. There will be some stall changes between Saturday and Sunday offering an even wider variety of crafts.
A popular feature of the craft fair is the home baking which is all made by local residents and is included in the entry price, of £1.50, along with a cup of tea or coffee. We have a reputation for being a family friendly show providing lots of choice and good value, and we hope that people will support us again this year to help us keep our hall in good condition.”
